The Dorn Method and Breuss Massage have many positive effects on the musculoskeletal system. They are gentle manual rehabilitation and relaxation treatments focused on relieving muscle tension, restoring natural movement, and improving the client’s overall comfort.
During the Dorn Method, the therapist guides the client’s movements slowly and applies gentle pressure, with the client actively participating in the treatment. Natural ranges of motion are used without any sudden or forceful manipulation techniques. This treatment is followed by the Breuss Massage – a calm and slow back massage with gentle relaxation of the soft tissues. St. John’s wort oil is normally used during the massage (or a neutral massage oil if preferred), helping to promote deep relaxation.
The treatment helps improve awareness of one’s own posture, relieves tension in the back, pelvis, and limbs, and promotes an overall feeling of physical and mental well-being.

The Dorn Method and Breuss Massage are suitable for:
-
people experiencing muscle tension, stiffness, or discomfort in the back, pelvis, and limbs
-
gentle care to support natural posture and overall mobility
-
an ideal complementary relaxation treatment for overall calming and regeneration
-
clients who prefer a gentle approach and active participation during the treatment
Not suitable for:
-
acute conditions following an injury, suspected fractures, or recent surgery
-
fever, infectious diseases, or acute inflammation
-
severe pain of unknown origin or sudden neurological symptoms (tingling, numbness)
-
severe osteoporosis and advanced structural changes of the musculoskeletal system
-
active cancer treatment, risk of deep vein thrombosis, or skin infections
-

How the treatment works:
Before the first treatment, a brief initial assessment is carried out, including a discussion of your comfort and any limitations, as well as an initial assessment of your posture. This is followed by gentle guided movements within the natural range of motion in the areas requiring attention. The treatment concludes with a slow, relaxing Breuss back massage for deep relaxation.
Duration of the treatment: The first visit takes 70 minutes (20-minute consultation + 50-minute treatment), subsequent visits take 50 minutes.
