A whirlpool bath is one of the basic spa procedures that has an extremely relaxing effect on your muscles. Increased tissue blood flow, which is typical for a whirlpool bath, helps in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain, joint arthrosis, post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, and general exhaustion.
A whirlpool bath is suitable for:
- To treat some post-traumatic and post-operative limb conditions.
- To treat musculoskeletal pain.
- To improve tissue blood flow.
This treatment is not suitable for seriously and acutely ill persons and pregnant women.
How the whirlpool bath works
The spa employee will take you to a cabin, where you will undress as needed, or change into a bathing suit and enter the bath where the massage takes place. After the time has passed (15 minutes), a worker will help you out of the tub (or spa) and hand you a sheet.
Duration of the treatment: 15 minutes.
