Why choose between a massage and a bath when you can have both in one, so-called? Treat yourself to a pleasant relaxation in the warm spring water, when the spa worker gradually massages your entire body (except for the chest, head and abdomen) using a special nozzle. Underwater massage stimulates the lymphatic system, improves blood circulation in the skin and relieves joint and back pain. Although it takes place under water, its intensity is boldly comparable to any other "dry" massage.
Underwater massage is suitable:
- For musculoskeletal pain and muscle tension.
- For overall relaxation and improvement of joint mobility.
This treatment is not suitable for acutely and seriously ill persons.
How an underwater massage works
The masseur will introduce you to the cabin and ask you to completely undress or change into a swimsuit. He then helps you into the bath and explains where to hold yourself. He gradually massages the whole body under the water, except for the head, the chest in front, the abdomen and the kidney area. If recommended by the doctor, he can also massage the abdominal area. After the time has passed, the masseur helps you out of the bath again, wraps you in a sheet and puts you on the sunbed in a dry wrap for 10 minutes.
Duration of the treatment: 15 minutes + 10 minutes wrap.
