A dry carbonic bath is suitable:
- For patients with high blood pressure and ischemic heart disease.
- In diabetes, blood circulation disorders and venous insufficiency.
- For patients with pressure ulcers and poorly healing wounds.
The treatment is not suitable for severely and acutely ill persons and claustrophobics.
How a dry carbon bath works
After being brought into the cabin, you strip down to your underwear. You lie down on a lounger and the worker gently slides you into a plastic bag. He carefully closes the bag with a rubber tourniquet around the included towel - either around the neck, under the armpit or around the waist. It constantly checks to see if you can breathe. He injects CO2 into the bag. You will have a portable alarm at your disposal, which you can use at any time if necessary to call the operator. At the same time, the staff repeatedly checks you during the procedure. After the time has passed, he carefully helps you out of the bag so that you don't inhale the emitted CO2.
Duration of the treatment: 45 minutes.
A dry carbon bath is an over-the-counter treatment.
